More than 2000Hrs clearing and mulching all invasive species on difficult and steep terrain

We have two LV600 Green Climber remote controlled machines with various attachments to satisfy most land clearing requirements on flat to very steep, smooth to very rough terrain. From the biggest woolly nightshade, privot or gorse trees to a town area of Kikuyu grass requiring a nice finish we can help with whatever growing problem you may have.

All while avoiding chemical sprays, scrub cutters and the dangers to drivers of vehicles on steep slippery slopes.

With thousands of hours experience on these machines, we pride ourselves on being very efficient and cost effective in what we do, and our feedback from customers reflect this.

Being SHE certified we can provide a variety of services to different environmental/agricultural challenges you may have.

Productive land reclaim

Reclaim back productive land that has been lost to the spread of invasive weeds. Large or small Gorse, Woolly nightshade, Privot and Blackberry and all other invasive species reduced to garden mulch with our new Tungsten tooth mulching heads from Australia. Paired with the two LV600 remote vehicles we currently run.

Native restoration projects

Massively reduces workload and time frames for volunteer and conservation projects. Allowing much better allocation of labor and resources for the 2nd stage of these projects. Also ensures the safety of personnel moving around cleared and clean areas after No Mans Land has been through site. Especially if the terrain is challenging.

Council & government work

No Mans land is an approved contractor for local and area departments which require the SHE approval certificate. Allowing new and existing councils/departments to utilize No Mans Lands capabilities knowing we fit their criteria prior to start of work.

Stump grinding

No Mans Land has a stump grinding attachment which allows stumps also on steep and dangerous (for conventional vehicles) terrain to be reduced to garden mulch. This attachment is controlled remotely through variable demand hydraulic system which allows greater user control of arm speed/swing encountered with differing “hardness” of each stump.

Waterways and reserves

With the ability of the tracked vehicle to evenly spread its weight distribution far better than a wheeled vehicle, waterway clearing and swamp areas are also within the scope of No Mans Land to clear waterway edges and soft terrain.

Safety and flexibility

The remote vehicle ensures safety of all involved in a tough, dangerous and demanding environment. Operators wear emergency locator beacons and we utilize remote winching systems designed for the machines should the need arise. So, we believe we are a totally self-sustaining operation. Allowing the client to not have to be present giving a sense of ease.

About us

My name is James Dunlop and with my son Finley we have started

“No Mans Land mowing”.

A Katikati local from the beginning and an engineer by trade. I was in PNG working when I overheard two Canadian mates talking about these motorway remote mowing vehicles, they had seen in Vancouver 2016.

I wasn’t sure they would work out in our NZ environment but soon after seeing a small clip of the Italian operators trialing a mulching head on a machine the light came on in my head.

We have two remote machines now with various attachments and two old school Toyota Landcruiser's that are as hard working now as ever.

We have met a whole bunch of the best people, who have all been so positive about what we are doing. But helping good people trying to improve their land & waterways put natives in the ground and “do their bit” for the environment is not a bad way to spend our day.
